Natcha on Film – Find love in an air-conditioned cinema this week with the Thai film “Love H20”, which is a perfect movie for middle-school couples (and might even help them reach second base). Meanwhile, adults can rely on “Attack on Titans” and “Absolutely Anything” in this week’s new releases.
Love H2O
Wow. The title of this movie is “Love H2O” because the name of the main actress is “Nam”, which means water in Thai.
The film is about a woman, “Nam”, who was recently dumped by her boyfriend and then finds out he is about to marry another woman. Nam, who owns a local magazine, moves on with her life with the help of three men. She somehow falls in love with all three of them which leaves her with a dilemma over which one to take to her ex-boyfriend’s wedding to make him jealous.
367 Days: Him & Her
This film couldn’t be any more generic and lame.
To sum it up, this movie is about a couple named “Head” and “Tine” (who makes up these names?) who apparently come from two different worlds. The movie doesn’t seem to have a plot, which is never a good sign. It’s honestly just about a couple who have arguments but in the end, they just end up loving each other.
Amy
I never really got into the drama surrounding Amy Winehouse, but this documentary makes me want to learn more about her life.
It is the story of Amy Winehouse’s life told in her voice. It features a lot of unseen archive footage and a few unheard tracks. Overall, it is pretty interesting and is a perfect documentary for those who want to learn more about Amy Winehouse.

Paper Towns
There seems to be a constant stream of movies about teenage love, and here’s another one. “Paper Towns” was made by the same people who brought us “The Fault In Our Stars”.
“Paper Towns” is about a guy named Quentin who has had a crush on his next door neighbor, Margo, since they were in elementary school. Now in his senior year of high school, he has never spoken to Margo. This all changes one night when Margo shows up in his bedroom and they go on an adventure. The next morning, Margo disappears but she leaves clues in her bedroom to help Quentin find her.
Attack on Titans
The trailer for this film made me cringe at how bad it looks.
Based on a popular anime series in Japan, this live action remake of “Attack on Titan” looks like a really low-budget movie. “Attack on Titan” is about a gifted boy named Eren Jaeger who must use his abilities to fight alongside the military in order to defeat the titan race, who apparently eat humans.
This looks like one of those end of the world movies but with terrible CGI.
Absolutely Anything
This weekend you should watch absolutely anything but this movie.
“Absolutely Anything” is about a man who has the power to do whatever he wishes with a stroke of his hand. He was given this power by a group of aliens who thought it would be funny to experiment on a human. The movie doesn’t seem to have a real plot and revolves around a guy wishing for stupid things.
