Mission: Impossible: Rogue: Nation:

Now I really never got into the Mission: Impossible series, but something about all the tech used in this one has got me excited.

Something I learned today while researching the film is that Tom Cruise actually does his own stunts. So if you’re wondering if it’s real when he’s hanging from the side of a moving plane, it really is Tom Cruise. The movie doesn’t look half bad either, and the fact Tom Cruise seems like a genuine badass makes me want to watch the movie even more.

The Road Within

I’m not sure what kind of week this is but the amount of “good” movies this week is scaring me.

“The Road Within” is about a young man named Vincent who is dealing with Tourette Syndrome. His dad is a hot-shot politician who is running for political office but doesn’t want his son to embarrass him during his campaign, so he sends him away to live in a clinic.

The film actually looks pretty good and looks promising. Should definitely check it out.

Well the trend of good movies this week didn’t last very long, the trailer for this made me chuckle.

When I first watched the trailer, I totally get a vibe that screams “Game of Thrones” rip-off. It looks like this film totally takes place near The Wall. However, it’s actually about a warrior who rises up against his corrupt and sadistic ruler in order to avenge his dishonored master.

Something about the setting and environment looks really weird and familiar to me, which almost makes me want to watch it, but I feel like it’s going to be one of those really bad past-war things.

Love Heaw Feaw Tott

YouTube video

Please don’t ask me what the title of this movie means because, despite my syllable-rich Thai name, I have no clue. Thai films seem to get really “creative” with the names.

So apparently this guy named “Tott” whose nickname is sometimes “Handsome” seems to be too good looking for every job that he applies for. Any cheesy Thai movie like this has to have some kind of conflict. and that’s where Tott has to use his charming good looks to find a job that can provide for his ailing grandmother in the hospital.

As for whether you should watch it or not, I’m going to have to say no because Thai comedy doesn’t work for me.

Ed. Note: If Natcha has ever pooped all over your favorite film, keep in mind this, his own contribution to cinema:
