Music fusion: ‘Thailand meets Italy’ in classical symphony

Talented Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra conductor Prateep Suphanrojn will team up with principal bassoon player Patrawut Punputhaphong to perform Thai and Italian classical music.

In the “Thailand meets Italy” concert, the two virtuosos will create a fusion of sounds, playing Thai traditional music, Italian composer Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s Suite-Concertino Op. 16, and German composer Felix Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony No. 4.

The concert will take place tomorrow and feature a pre-performance discussion. Ticket prices start from THB300, or THB100 for students.
