Still trying to decide what to do with your mom on Mother’s Day this Sunday? Coconuts has rounded up some promising-looking options for food, fun, and drinks with your favorite lady.

Whether she prefers making traditional crafts, drinking heavily, donning a hat for tea time, digging into a roast dinner, or bouncing on a trampoline like someone half her age, we’ve got a list of hot tickets for the holiday on Sunday. And, hey, take her out for one last round afterward since most of us are off on Monday.

Polynesian eatery Trader Vic’s, famous for their Mai Tais, offers brunch on Sunday for moms that love the South Pacific. Located at the Anantara Riverside, Mom can get a meal of steak and seafood, along with a Polynesian-style performance, for free as long as three paying adults join her.

Brunch is THB2,200 with tiki and soft drinks, THB2,900 with free flow beer, wine, and bubbles, and kids under 10 years old are free.

Moms with a penchant toward the traditional might like the seafood brunch at Next 2 Cafe, in the classic Shangri-La hotel by the river. The buffet menu focuses on lobster, and includes lobster omelettes, lobster thermidor, grilled lobster, and lobster bisque.

They are also offering moms free boxes of chocolate and sessions where mothers and children can learn how to craft Thai flower garlands and try their hand at making their own.

Brunch is THB2,888 per person.

She might like the ala carte Mother’s Day brunch at imaginative Mediterranean-inspired Silom restaurant Via Maris. This riverside brunch at the Anani Riverside Hotel focuses on the high-life. The seafood menu highlights include Normandy oysters prepared with a variety of sauces and different styles and the Skyline restaurant has rare 360 degree views of Bangkok.

What’s better? Mom eats free and gets a surprise gift when three adults join her.

Brunch is THB1,200 per person and kids under 12 years old eat for free.

Colonial Tea Time

Mom the type that likes to don a hat and fancy dress? Take her to high tea in an Insta-friendly garden at The house of Sathorn. The afternoon of tea and treats offers scones with homemade marmalade, jam and devonshire clotted cream, layer cakes, brownies, Macau egg tarts, salted caramel éclairs, banoffee mooncakes, jasmine tea crème brulee, matcha red bean millfeuille, prosciutto-cheese buns, crab-cucumber buns, smoked salmon croissants, and quiche lorraine.

And, because mom can’t be seen swigging Lipton on Mother’s Day, the all-important tea selection comes from TWG. Oh, and moms also get a free bellini cocktail.

Mom love her British pub food? Is she the type that prefers roast lamb over larb moo (spicy pork salad)? Take her down to the Landmark Hotel’s Huntsman Pub for a pint and a roast buffet featuring a traditional carving of Australian Beef, New Zealand lamb, honey-glazed ham, herb spring chicken, smoked salmon, and Yorkshire pudding.

Historic Hotel Brunch for Last Time

Dusit Thani Hotel’s The Pavilion is hosting their last Mother’s Day brunch in their historic Silom flagship since they will close their doors in January a few years while a new facility is rebuilt in the same location. Those who’ve enjoyed Bangkok’s Dusit Thani with their mom over the years might appreciate posing for souvenir photos with a miniature version of the hotel built for the occasion.

This brunch is being offered on both Saturday and Sunday and features live entertainment, kids activities, lobster, foie gras, and roast meats. Moms will also get a free jasmine tree to take home.

The brunch buffet is THB2,800 per person.
