If you missed One For The Road in cinemas earlier this year, the Thai road trip film began streaming today on Netflix.

Directed by Nattawut “Baz” Poonpiriya (Bad Genius) and produced by Hong Kong auteur Wong Kar-wai, the film stars two best buds, New York bar owner Boss (Thanapob “Tor” Leeratanakachorn) and his estranged cancer-ridden friend (Natara “Ice” Nopparatayapon) on one last road trip to complete a bucket list of goodbyes to past loves.

It all adds up to a series of very sincere if emotionally manipulative made-for-Valentine’s Day vignettes of love gone wrong.

The gorgeous cinematography features Wong Kar-wai’s stylized craft accompanied by a curated soundtrack of oldies. The 136-minute drama premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival where it netted the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition.
