Despite some of us still having two work days left, many people have headed home early to enjoy an early start to their New Year’s holiday.
Mo Chit bus terminal and Hua Lamphong train station have reportedly been crowded with passengers traveling back to their hometowns since the weekend, forcing police to provide extra officers to maintain safety.
Traffic police officers have also been deployed to help organize the traffic around the Mo Chit bus terminal as there are more buses departing, while the State Railway of Thailand has added an extra 1-2 compartments on each train to handle 10,000 more passengers per day.
