Magic, comedy and more to ‘feel good’ about at Check Inn 99

A telepath, poet and comedian walk into a bar and … what happens next?

Find out while having some laughs and doing some good next Friday at a night of live-performance comedy, music, magic and more at a mid-Sukhumvit bar-nightclub.

Nine performers in all will take the stage at at Check Inn 99 for The Feel Good, the proceeds of which will be used to benefit refugees in Bangkok.

Experience the stagecraft of Sarin “The Mentalist” Suriyakoon, who will try to blow your mind by reading it, and hear funny tales from Bangkok comedian-author Jackson Foshay and dope poetry by Guy Andrews.

Expect rough chuckles from sets by Bangkok comedians Christy Inhulsen and Steven White, supported by additional improv LOLs by Meg Anderson, Matthew Long and Sunanda Sachatrakul.

Bernz Diaz, a musician from Panama, will perform live Latin music.

Entry is 200 baht and additional donations are welcome. At least 50 percent of all ticket sales will go to Asylum Access Thailand, plus the full amount of any additional donations. Organizers of The Feel Good say their first edition in February raised over THB5,000 to directly help those incarcerated in Bangkok’s Immigration Detention Center.

The event starts at 7pm on April 26 at Check Inn 99, a bar and nightclub located just in Soi Sukhumvit 33. It can be reached on foot from BTS Phrom Phong.
