Lush opens luxe flagship store at Siam Center today

Beloved UK bath and cosmetic brand Lush has opened its flagship store at Siam Center today, bringing its famous bath bombs and handmade beauty products to Thailand.

In the same way that Thais used to revere Sephora, Lush has been a must-visit beauty store for Thais visiting the UK. Luckily for the brand’s fans, the new Siam Center store is one of Lush’s five biggest stores in the world.

Sitting in front of the store is the colorful range of the store’s famous bath bombs. The grand opening event also showed the process of how the Lush staff makes their fresh face masks right in the store using a kitchen mixer and ingredients such as almond meal and lavender. However, if you buy these, note that they’ll have to be stored in your refrigerator because the ingredients are fresh and unpreserved. The masks last about three weeks. We heard from a store employee that you can’t really make them last beyond that, they start to smell bad.

Yes, there’s a chocolate face mask.

Other highlights at the shop include the F.A.T Soap (Fighting Animal Testing), which is exclusive to Bangkok’s store opening, vegan cosmetics, shower and hair products, and a large signature perfume section, featuring the store’s sensual scents that are heavy on natural elements such as cedar, ylang-ylang and patchouli.

Much like its UK stores, the Bangkok store’s staff are incredibly lively, with some able to chat well and easily in English.

Lush is located on the first floor of Siam Center, opposite Victoria’s Secret.
