New zebra crossings were painted on the streets of Krabi province this week to express its sense of style.
Three zebras each were painted on four streets across Krabi city on Sunday, which have been gotten a lot of attention and approval from locals and tourists, who cannot help but snap a cool Twitpic.

The zebra crossings are meant to help Krabi to become the “city of arts,” as officials there have funded many public art projects around town such as such as sculptures of a proto-human perched on traffic lights, a white sea eagle and white elephants, according to Major Keeratisak Phukaoluan.
The cute 12 zebras cost THB320,000, Daily News and VoiceTV reported.
