Kolour in the Park canceled due to COVID

A popular outdoor electronic music festival will not be returning to northern metro Bangkok after it did not get the greenlight.

Kolour in the Park today announced on its socials the cancellation of the party planned for later this month.

“It’s with heavy heart we are writing to inform you that this year’s Kolour in the Park festival planned for Feb 26, 2022 has not received the necessary approvals and therefore will not proceed this year,” its statement read.

The statement from the longtime premier parry team ended on an optimistic note, promising Kolourians their reopening will feature A-list international talent.

Ticket holders will be notified by email how to obtain a refund or apply their tickets to future shows.

Kolour in the Park is an annual electronic music festival taking place at the secluded Thai Wake Park in Pathum Thani province’s Lam Luk Ka district.

It last took place two years ago, when techno fanatics got to see the likes of prominent acts such as Black Coffee, Artbat, Oddisee, and Mousse T. It was the last major fest before Thailand entered months of lockdown.
