An annual music and lifestyle festival on the island of Koh Mak returns with a fully festive five days in celebration of its tenth anniversary – and tickets are selling out fast.

Fly to the Moon, a favorite festival holiday destination every New Year’s Eve, is gearing up for their 10 Year Anniversary of beats, beaches, and boats at the tail end of 2023.

Billed as a “magical journey over five whole days,” the festival will run from December 29 to January 2, an additional two days from last year’s edition.

Fly to the Moon is more than just five days of DJs dishing out cosmic beats every sunset and sunrise spread out over unique locations throughout the island. There will be a plethora of fun beachy activities during the day for the whole family including yoga, cooking, frisbee golf, volleyball, kayaking, and coral planting. The festival also encourages attendees to clean up after the beach once new year festivities are over.

So how much is it? Currently, 2nd release passes are sold at a hefty THB7,755 for all five days and a boat party. Not looking to set sail? Then it’s THB7,155. Alternatively, if you’re looking to go for just the boat party, and not the five days of the festival itself, then that will set you back THB2,155.

The price did not deter festival goers from buying, as each of the previous tiers sold out within 24 hours over the weekend.

For active festival heads, the sale comes during a month that is chock full of festivals – look no further than the continuously-pricey-every-subsequent year that is Wonderfruit or the indie rock centric Maho Rasop Festival.
