Atcharaporn “Gina” Kanokteesasas, a fourth year economics student at Kasetsart University, was crowned Miss Thailand in the oldest national pageant contest held at King Power Complex last week.
The 21-year-old was considered to have the advantage in the Nang Sao Thai Pageant as she followed the footsteps of her older sister, Ornwipa “Jeoy” Kanokteesasas, who won in 2009.

Meanwhile, the runners-up were Paweenasuda Saeton (right) and Dussadee Aritan (left), respectively.
The Nang Sao Thai Pageant is famous as Thailand’s oldest – and most conservative – competition as it remains the only national beauty pageant not to require contestants to wear swimsuits, Daily News reported.
