JetStar Asia, known regionally for its low cost and charming lack of reliability, has just announced that it will begin offering eight additional flights per week between Bangkok and Singapore, starting later this summer.
Via a press release, Jetstar Asia Chief Executive Officer Barathan Pasupathi said that his company was creating the additional capacity in response to increased demand from leisure and business travelers for flights into Bangkok.
The company will roll out the new flight schedule on July 8 with starting prices of THB2,699 (USD114) for one-way, economy tickets from Singapore to Bangkok.
The added flights are slated to take place at a rate of two per-day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
