Weed lovers, any plans for winter break?

Set to run three days at the F1 speedway in Buriram province, the Pan Buriram Festival will return for a second edition later this year with a lot to expect from a great music lineup to a weed strain competition.

Light up a joint (or pipe or bong) along with throbbing and thrilling music by headliners on two big stages. Some of the promising talents are mango and sticky rice-loving teen rapper Milli, OG rapper Joey Boy, and a singer-songwriter with northeastern roots, Rasmee Isan Soul.

Update: Buriram postpones epic weed festival due to growing anxiety, legal fears

Local growers have a chance to win prizes up to THB700,000 at a competition seeking the finest flowers in the kingdom.

The Pan Buriram Festival Vol. 2 will run Nov. 25 to Nov. 27 at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram province. The Formula 1 track is located in Buriram city, about 400 kilometers east of Bangkok.

The festival took place for the first time in April 2019 with more than 150,000 participants. The organizers are no stranger to the scene but former Bhumjaithai Party leader Newin Chidchob, who led the decriminalization push, and his daughter Chidchanok “Nan” Chidchob.
