Northern Irish indie pop outfit Two Door Cinema Club will be back in Bangkok for a live performance — the trio’s first gig here since 2017, when it played at Show DC Oasis Arena.

Best known for hit singles like “What You Know,” “Something Good Can Talk” and “Undercover Martyn,” Two Door Cinema Club will return to perform live on a Bangkok stage this August, announced local gig promoter Be Hear Now.

Two Door Cinema Club (named after a band member’s mispronunciation of “Tudor Cinema”) rose to fame after its 2010 debut album Tourist History. The group consists of frontman Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Kevin Baird (bass, synths, backing vocals). The band has played at some of the biggest music festivals in the world, such as Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapolooza.

The three-piece outfit will release its fourth studio album “False Alarm” on June 21.

The concert will start at 8pm on August 13 at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani. Tickets range from THB1,500 to THB2,200 and can be purchased online starting June 8 at 10pm.
