Just when you thought there wasn’t space for any more, Bangkok’s newest mall was opened today over in Thonburi by the same people behind the riverside Iconsiam.
Dubbed a “mixed-use lifestyle town,” the THB40 billion (US$1.2 billion) ICS mall’s 29 floors span over 70,000sqm just across Charoen Nakhon Road from the 2018 original. The new space aims to capture the hearts of shoppers with more than 200 lifestyle brands and 80 popular eateries from around the globe.
Perched above is the Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok ICS Charoen Nakhon, which occupies 17,000sqm space with 241 rooms.
It will also be anchored by Lotus’s Prive, which is billed as a new hypermarket selling premium-quality groceries.
ICS and Iconsiam was a joint project by developer Siam Piwat, Magnolia Quality Development, and Charoen Pokphand Group.
