If you’re absolutely set on seeing some dancing lions, get over to Yaowarat Road on Sunday evening where everything will be glowing in scarlet.
Lighting installations, performances, and lanterns will be arrayed around the Odeon Roundabout every evening through Feb. 15 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The street will be packed with people affixing money to inanimate objects, setting off some firecrackers or on their way to pray at Wat Mangkon Kamalawat.
For those not in the capital city, the tourism authority has a listing of 19 events taking place in different locales nationwide.
