To marketers, they are a demographic known to be early adopters and highly receptive to new trends. To everyone else, they’re hipsters-and they’re drawing an indie trifecta to Bangkok next month at the Have You Heard music minifest.
After bringing in names such as the Beach Fossils and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Have You Heard is celebrate its second birthday by upping the ante to three bands: Wild Nothing from the United States, Veronica Falls from the United Kingdom, and Last Dinosaurs from Australia. The show is at 7pm on Nov. 6 at Voice TV’s Voice Space on Viphawadi-Rangsit Road.
Organizers say they expect upward of 1,500 attendees. Expect lots of plaid shirts, thick rimmed glasses and tattoos. And some cool music.
Tickets are THB2,200 at the door and THB1,900 in advance.
