After enduring much mockery and bashing, Kantana Motion Pictures stepped up their fashion game for the Thai remake of American series “Gossip Girl” and won some points from skeptical fans.
A sneak peek the school uniforms and off-duty outfits posted over the weekend show what characters Blair and Serena will be wearing when the show runs next month look like a mixture of Prada, Jimmy Choo and also includes locals designers such as Sean Poem, Kwanpen, Chayada Boutique and Theatre Bangkok.
That the series will be a faithful adaptation of the source was reinforced by images showing what appear to be two iconic scenes from the series: the catfight between Blair and Serena, and Blair’s hot scene with her boyfriend Nate Archibald (probably when she finds out he lost his V-card to her best friend.)
While kissing on the lips never happens in Thai lakorn and a camera-pan to the nightstand lamp substitutes for sex, Kantana went ahead with this one and gives us a kiss.
