Genre-less DJ duo ‘GTA’ to make debut at ONYX

Retox Sessions and Onyx present GTA, a DJ duo from Miami hoping to break boundaries in music.

Their performances are anything but predictable, going from trap and hip-hop to electro then rock, with a twist of R&B and bass drops in between.

Production duo Julio Mejia and Matt van Toth take a “death to genres” approach, experimenting with and blending different musical ideas. Since their first track “It’s Time” was released through Afrojack’s Wall Recordings label, they’ve released hit tracks in collaboration with leading artists like Diplo, A-Trak, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris.

Before their recent collaboration with Skrillex, “Red Lips,” GTA did various remixes for artists from Kylie Minogue to deadmau5, and have also appeared at Calvin Harris and Tiesto’s Greater Than Tour, and Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour.
