Former Thai porn star “Nong Nat” is furious over a foreign media report saying that she found her elderly millionaire husband by after “turning to Buddhism and praying.”
Kejsarin Chaichalermphol, 31, better known by her nickname “Nong Nat,” responded to the viral reports with a missive on Instagram.
“The story is famous all over the world in Asia and Europe,” Nat captioned a screenshot of a story published in Chinese language.
“I’m not happy because the journalist asked me about meditation and my routines to the temple. I never said that praying helped me to find my husband. The report is a totally different story from the questions they asked me, and the answers they published were not what I sent them.”
It’s likely that Nong Nat is referring to a recent report in the venerable Daily Mail headlined “Thai porn star, 31, found her millionaire sugar daddy, 70, after turning to Buddhism and ‘praying'”.
While the UK tabloid gave details about Nat as a Buddhist in the bottom, the first chunk of the article focused on the fact she has thanked “karma” and her husband and for the daily payments he makese to her (a translation directly copied without credit from Coconuts Bangkok.)
Nat went on to say that, despite the minor annoyance, the reports didn’t do much more than elicit laughter.
“If you want to publish a story like this. Don’t waste time to ask me questions. Just imagine the answers yourself and put them there. My husband and his friends laughed so hard at the report,” Nat wrote.
Don’t you get it? Practicing Buddhism alone can’t land you a sugar daddy. You have to do other things too…like committing good deeds.
