Fashionistas at the launch of well-known Singaporean shoe brand Charles & Keith’s Spring 2013 collection were entertained by two local celebrities who put on a unique runway performance.
Yayaying-Ratha Poh-ngam and Opal-Panisara Pimpru stared menacingly into each other’s eyes while vying for the same pair of Charles & Keith shoes. The popular actresses stomped around the stage, threatening to get into a catfight for love of their footwear.
Leggy models took over the runway after the completion of this skit. The models showed off the Charles & Keith collection while dressed in sleek, black-and-white ensembles that involved a simple blouse paired with booty-hugging shorts. Each model seemed to have legs that went on for meters, ending in a pair of beautifully made shoes. This latest line features bold neon on black designs as well as flirty pastels for the spring season. Color blocking in geometric designs aim to please ladies who crave the jazz mood of the ‘20s.
