The Emperor’s Secret announced last night it will close by the end of next month.

Nearly four years after it opened in late 2019, just before the pandemic, the Chinese-themed venue said it will host gigs until March 24.

“The Emperor’s Secret will close its doors for good after this exciting and also fulminant time,” it said in a statement. “March will be our last month of operation and we have some great artists booked for you. We hope to finish this with a fantastic crowd, vibes, music, smiles, and love.”

The club, inspired by the ancient vault of the reign of young Emperor Jing Li, brought crowds to its intricately designed dance space for over three years and booked quality house and techno acts from Thailand and abroad.

For some of the last chances to see its colorful interiors, here’s the weekend lineup: Eddy Frampton will play Friday followed by Diatonik B2B Optikz on Saturday. On March 11, the club will host Supernova.

As of now, one of its last gigs will be German techno duo Teenage Mutants on March 15.
