Duck & Noodle’s next thing is a bad idea in Chinatown

Not sure if this is some kind of reverse psychology mind trick or false modesty, but the coolkids of Duck & Noodle want you to know their next party is “a bad idea.”

Intriguing marketing aside, the venue sounds like a dern’d good idea.

“For this time around, we found an old soy sauce factory that used to be an opium warehouse,” they write. “Soon, it will be gallery and photography studio, but before it opens, let’s have a little fun.”

That fun consists of Kenneth Scott, who makes electronic dance music on a Roland MKS-30 and Moog Minitaur (“Not a DJ set,” apparently) with local drummy/bassy favorite DJ Dragon of Dubway fame and DJ Capo Ultra of Jam’s CRM Soundsystem crew.

The party starts at 8pm and will go until 3am at the Soy Sauce Factory on Charoen Krung Soi 24. Entry is THB200, includes one drink.
