Head over to the new Future Factory this weekend for a pre-opening party.
A massive outdoor drinking area, multiple bars, two floors of shops including a tattoo studio, a moo krata (Thai-style pork barbeque) place, Mexican restaurant, and more await at the new arts and lifestyle venue by the Blaq Lyte hip-hop crew led by Nick Supreda.
One of the space’s three bars serves drinks with the psychoactive drug kratom such as the Chrysanthemum Kratom (THB80).
This Saturday and Sunday, the party will feature a flea market and a range of local DJs kicking off at 4pm.
The name Future Factory may ring a bell to some art fans as its former location in Ari was known for hosting the Bangkok debut exhibition of Spanish illustrator Joan Cornella in 2017.
The new Future Factory is located off Rama IV Road just behind the Fu Fu Taiwanese Shabu restaurant.
Those coming by skytrain can get off at BTS Thong Lo and take a motorbike taxi from Soi Sukhumvit 36.
