Spend a week reading and drinking (at the same time) when the Books and Beers Festival returns July 21 to July 30.

At the event to be held at the Singha Complex near MRT Phetchaburi, guests can expect  cheap reads, talks with writers, music to hear, and arts and crafts to partake in. The event says there will be discounted books and new releases.

The tagline for the event this year is “Keep calm, read a book, and drink beer.” Last year, the annual event, held at the same location, was themed “No book I cry, no beer I die,” and featured more than 50 publishers.

The event is sponsored by Book Festival, We Want Records Label, KTC, the Singha Complex, and others. It starts at 11am and finishes at 10pm each day. Email them or visit their Facebook page for more details.
