American progressive metal band Dream Theater will bring its Top of The World tour to Bangkok this Sunday at Show DC’s MGI Hall.

The band was formed in 1985 under the name Majesty before it became Dream Theater. Over the course of various lineup changes, John Petrucci and John Myung—two of the three of original founders—have been the only two constant members.

The band was supposed to perform in Bangkok in April 2020 but the concert was canceled due to the pandemic.

This time it’s back with a new organizer, Defiance Entertainment, who brought FKJ and Simple Plan in February.

Last time Dream Theater played in Bangkok was in 2012, so this will mark 11 years since its last show.

Tickets are THB3,200 via Ticketmelon, or THB3,600 at the door. Show DC is located near RCA in the Huai Khwang district. The nearest rail link is MRT Petchaburi.
