It may be peak summer, but winter has finally come for Bangkok’s Throners.

While viewers may want to escape the Songkran water zombies to see the white walkers invade Westeros, it is festival time, so consider taking in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones with other like-minded geeks.

This Monday, catch the beginning of the fantasy hit drama’s end at a few Bangkok venues hosting watch parties.

The Friese-Greene Club (Soi Sukhumvit 22)

Like previous years, this alternative bar-cinema will screen Game of Thrones at 8pm on Monday and will repeat every Monday until the May 20th finale.

All screenings are free, but keep in mind that space and seats are limited. Seats or space must be reserved in advance online.

The Overstay (Charan Sanitwong Road)

West-siders can head to this art space-hostel on Charan Sanitwong Road, which is hosting a Thrones screening with free popcorn and a drink special called “Dragon’s Breath.”

Admission is free. The show starts at 8pm on Monday and runs every Monday through May 20. Full details here.

Daddy G’s Smoke and Brew (Soi Rama IX 53)

Hosted by fantasy, sci-fi, and drama series fan group Watchman, a fan meet-up and viewing party of the premiere will take place at bar and eatery Daddy G’s.
