Don Muang Airport urges travelers leave early before flights

Don Muang International Airport is urging its passengers to take into account longer travel times to the airport due to heavy traffic during the holiday season.

Passengers are advised to spare at least 2-3 hours for the trip to the airport as the roads to Don Muang are expected to be congested until January 5th, the end of the New Year’s holiday period, airport officials said today.

The airport has also asked related agencies to help publicize the matter to their clients.

Passengers who plan to leave their cars at the airport during their trip can park at the building opposite the domestic terminal for free of charge until Jan. 5. The more convenient 7-storey airport parking will continue to collect fees.
