While some people in the world relish the peril of holiday in-store sales, Thailand’s e-commerce vendors have embraced Cyber Monday, the more sensible – and safe – alternative.
Tomorrow is the last day to check out the deals at the Thailand Online Mega Sale, with 20 percent to 80 percent discounts on more than 1,000 products and services from about 500 online vendors.
The online blow-out is a collaboration between the private sector and Commerce Ministry, along with other government agencies. The online sale event is hoped to produce THB500 million for e-business owners.
Bonus: Delivery costs and transaction fees for event sales will be reduced thanks to Thailand Post and various financial institutions, NNT reported.
