A big round of applause to BEC Tero for bringing some grade-A talent to Bangkok this July. We’re getting pumped for the first installment of SOUNDBOX, a live music event powered by Live Nation featuring some cutting edge artists from around the world. If you’re down to dance, you should be getting pumped too.
Headlining the show is the American duo Twenty One Pilots. Catchy doesn’t really begin to sum up the sound of the band formed by Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. It’s rap, electro, techno with some piano thrown in there for good measure, and it’s awesome. Fun fact: Twenty One Pilots is great live, so we’re looking forward to having them in the Kingdom.
Also on the ticket is “Samurai Guitarist” and all around badasss MIYAVI. Covered in tattoos, the patent leather wearing musician is totally electric with an energetic stage presence. You can’t help but dance along to the Japanese singer-songwriter’s songs like Let Go and The Others. MIYAVI has toured the world performing more than 200 shows, and thankfully hitting up Bangkok again for us to rock out in July.
The final component of the SOUNDBOX show is a set by Bangkok star DJ ONO, a regular fixture in the Thai nightlife scene. He kills it at Ku De Ta has also spins abroad holding down residencies in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and more. This is one of our favorite Thai talents to watch and a perfect addition to the lineup. His set will have you dancing in no time, guaranteed.
It’s all going down on July 22 at Muang Thai GMM Live House on the 8th floor of CentralWorld. The show starts at 8:30 and is only 1,500 THB.
Grab your tickets ahead of time, they went on sale on June 6 and are limited. Check out more information at www.bectero.com and www.facebook.com/bectero, and follow BEC Tero on twitter: @BEC_Tero_Ent and instagram: BECTERO_ENTERTAINMENT for the latest on more hot events.
