Coming to Jam: Zines, garage sale, fruity music and more

Our friends at Jam have a lot in store during the next few weeks, including a community garage sale, zine release party and more. Here’s the deets:

CRM: Fruit Salad: Dress Hawaiian and taste a rainbow of tropical bass flavors. The CRM crew and DJ Chiri Moya will be spinning starting at 8pm on Thursday, April 24.

Mao Mak Mag 2: The event named “Very Drunk” in Thai is now ready for you to join a photography exhibition and zine release party by Graham Meyer and get stoned on local booze, Lamai Thai Rum, starting at 8pm on May 3.

Garage Sale: Jam’s community garage sale is back. Folks are welcome to buy or sell (or donate) second-hand and DIY items while checking out what else is there to the sound of live indie from 4pm to midnight on May 4.

Jam Cine Club: As ever Film Nerd Prime Nathan Johnson presides over the Wednesday night film screenings. This month’s theme, “So Bad It’s Good,” is already off too a mop-wielding start with The Toxic Avenger. Check the event page for clues about what’s next.
