Chanel recently launched one of its Coco Game Centers here in Bangkok. For those who might not be familiar with it, it’s the fashion brand’s combination beauty store and arcade, which features a selection of games that’s pretty similar to the ones you might see in an old school arcade — just, with Chanel’s interlocking Cs all over. That, and a lot of pink.
The shop, located at the entrance of Erawan, is decked out with these classed-up arcade game machines, matching sofas, and several nooks and crannies clearly intended to function as pretty backdrops for selfies.

In games, they’ve got car racing, digital ping pong, and claw machines (here, the prizes are little Chanel-branded trinkets, or cosmetics and skincare samples). The games are mostly beauty-themed, so that you can have an interactive experience with Chanel’s cosmetics line.

The arcade machines also double as a beauty station — so, after playing a bout of ping pong, you can switch the screen off and get Chanel lipsticks and lip glosses to try on in any shade you want, IRL.
All the Chanel fragrances are here too, as are the skincare products. The staff are pretty encouraging about having visitors try out whichever items they’d like, and will even assist them to apply makeup or give out beauty tips. Every product on display is available for purchase, too.

We might be a little late to this one — it actually opened last Saturday — but damn, it’s fabulous. We couldn’t just keep mum about it.
The Coco Game Center welcomes walk-in visitors, but it’s better to pre-register on their website to avoid long queues. It will remain in town until July 30.
