Araya “Chompoo” Hargate, one of the top-earning actresses in Thailand, won the fanciest celeb wedding of the year award last night at her ceremony with business billionaire Witsarut “Nott” Rangsisingpipat at the Plaza Athenee Hotel in the Phloen Chit area.
Despite the luxurious backdrop using several fields worth of flowers, Chompoo’s three wedding gowns got the most attention. The actress, who is the face of L’Officiel Thailand fashion magazine, appeared before the media in a sparkly princess-like gown from Elie Saab and a complicated-looking, white, custom-made wedding dress from Giambattista Valli Haute at the reception. Each cost THB3 million.
For the after party, Chompoo kept it classy in a Dior dress pairing with classic Converse for a casual look. The three dresses and glass slippers from Dolce & Gabbana were estimated to cost THB10 million, which is about what she can earn in three days.
