This Songkran, one of Koh Samui’s famous beaches has more to offer than a water war or a Full Moon Party.
Veteran London festival organizers Soundcrash present Paradise Island Festival, which promises the music and arts experience of a lifetime.
The Thai and international lineup includes hip hop royalty The Pharcyde, drum & bass pioneers Goldie and LTJ Bukem, Daddy G (of Massive Attack fame), Krafty Kuts, Mad Professor and Maribou State. Oh, and Thailand’s very own The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band will be there too.
Revellers will also find art showcases, and plenty of activities to enjoy from boat parties to yoga, Thai Chi and Thai cookery classes.
Paradise Island Festival claims to be an eco-conscious and environmentally friendly alternative to the Full Moon Parties. Head to Chaweng Noi Beach on Koh Samui this Songkran if you are looking for something more that traditional parties.
The tickets are THB2,800 for full weekend passes and go on sale today. Check their site for more info.
