On June 17, CanCham will host its annual Canada Day celebration at the British Club in Silom. The event — like Canada itself — is totally friendly: everyone is welcome. There will be Canadian beer, a DJ, prize draws, and lots of Canadian food!

Can you say poutine and maple syrup?

This year’s celebration introduces the marketplace, a “new culinary experience” celebrating Canada as a “cultural mosaic” strengthened by immigrants and people of all ethnicities. Savor flavors from around the world, from Thai to Greek, Italian, Mexican, and Indian.

You’ll see that the event does not only celebrate Canada as a country, but also embraces diversity and friendship between Thailand and Canada.

Admission is free for children under 5 years old. For those between 6 and 12 it is THB250, and THB500 for adults.

Join the celebration, and you’ll discover that Canada isn’t all about maple syrup, icy weather, and hockey.
