Buakaw Banchamek danced and demonstrated some Muay Thai moves along the way as he joined Thai rocker “Toon Bodyslam” in the hospital charity run on Saturday.
Buakaw appeared full of energy as he brought the party to the singer’s troop. In one video and a series of photos, Buakaw is seen flexing his muscles and doing some kicks, elbows, and hooks as he ran side-by-side with rock star Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai, the lead singer of Bodyslam.
Well, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Buakaw
The athlete was a guest for the day to help Toon, who is completing a 2,000 kilometer run to raise THB700 million for public hospitals in Thailand.
Toon’s girlfriend, Rachwin Wongviriya, who’s a famous Thai actress, wrote fondly of Buakaw on Facebook, and said that he entertained the runners for the entire day.
“He made King Kong sounds, and he alternated running with doing high kicks and side kicks,” Rachwin wrote.
“When Toon encountered a bunch of ladies who were waiting for him, Buakaw showed his spirit by running right into the girls and said ‘Toon doesn’t have to deal with them. I got this one.’”
“There were so many funny moments! Buakaw made us laugh the entire journey. He was like a fictional superhero with superpowers to help other people. He made people happy and smile,” Rachwin wrote.
