Boiler Room is back for a second round of live DJ broadcasts for this year’s Maho Rasop Festival.

The London-based online music platform Boiler Room, which made its debut in Bangkok at Maho Rasop last year, will be returning with its own stage, announced today via the indie rock festival’s socials. The fest’s stage lineup is TBA, but the festival promises “a dynamic blend of international and local artists.”

Boiler Room joins an already jam-packed roster of artists and bands for Maho Rasop Festival including headliners post-punk group Interpol, British punk rock band Idles, and Canadian dream pop outfit Alvvays.

In January, the platform released five of the DJ sets from Maho Rasop 2022’s edition on their YouTube channel, featuring the debut of Bangkok DJs on the platform including DJ Dragon, Chalo, Dott and Elaheh, and Marmosets.

For those who missed out, or out of the loop on what a boiler room is, Boiler Room’s live streams consist of DJs playing in overstuffed booths packed with sweaty ravers at venues around the world. The music platform has garnered more than three million YouTube subscribers.

Maho Rasop will take place Dec. 2-3 at ESC Park in Rangsit. Phase 1 tickets are on sale now through Oct. 31 for THB4,490.
