Dance around an overcrowded DJ booth for internet voyeurs when Boiler Room does its thing next month at the Maho Rasop Festival.
Famous for streaming full DJ sets up close and very personal, the group will host some local and international talents at a pop-up stage at the fest on Nov. 20, the organizer announced this afternoon.
The lineup wasn’t disclosed, but festival organizers promised “an eclectic mix of international and local artists across a whole range of genres.”
Boiler Room’s live streams consist of DJs playing in overstuffed booths packed with sweaty ravers at venues around the world. The music platform has garnered more than three million YouTube subscribers.
Prominent artists featured in its streams include Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, Kaytranada, Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, DJ Shadow, Richie Hawtin, Solomun, and others.
One of the most-anticipated music festivals coming to Bangkok, Maho Rasop will run Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 at the ECS Park in Pathum Thani’s Rangsit area.
When it kicked off in 2019, Maho Rasop earned cred for combining impressive local and international acts from diverse genres – which made it one of Bangkok’s best outdoor music festival in memory. Due to COVID-19, the festival skipped 2020 and 2021.
