Find cool comic art and meet talented illustrators from the scene at a two-week long exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.

The second edition of the BKK Comics Art Festival gives comic book fans the chance to revel in comic art and meet local and international artists from the United States, Belgium, Taiwan, and more.

The art festival is split into two events. The exhibition, which began on Tuesday and will run until Oct. 22 on the gift floor of the BACC, will feature comic art to look through and cool merch to buy for casual readers and die-hard enthusiasts.

The convention which will take place this weekend only will feature notable creatives to meet-and-greet from the comics industry. There is also an interview panel with best-selling author Leonie Bischoff, a presentation on veteran Thai comic artist Apichart Rodwatanakul, and two contests – comic storytelling and comic coloring – featuring participants of students from over 100 universities in Bangkok and surrounding provinces.

The event is organized by online magazine BKK Unzine and SEA Junction.
