Challenger Hall Muang Thong Thani was inundated with screaming teenage girls last night for tabloid prince Justin Bieber’s “Believe” Bangkok concert.
Those hoping for some controversy from the Canadian crooner were left disappointed though, as Biebs simply dance and sang his way through his hits.
Before the show, a huge countdown clock appeared on the giant screens above the stage warning that the Biebs would be performing in 10 minutes as Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” basted from the speakers.
Justin arrived on stage to a frenzied reception and proceeded to perform his way through hits like “Boyfriend,” “Believe,” and “As Long as You love Me.”
The Biebs only took breaks from his workmanlike set to show videos of himself before he was famous and finished up with an encore of “Baby.” Charming.
Bieber’s singing and dancing was spot on, he behaved like a consummate professional and, sadly, he didn’t do anything controversial.
