Hark now fellow film geeks! For Jam Cafe’s Cult Movie Night continues tonight with its latest offering in the theme of “banned” cinema.
Following the sacrilegious “Life of Brian” and still-lovely “Cannibal Holocaust,” tonight will see “Titicut Follies,” an American documentary from 1967 banned for its depiction of patient-inmates and their bleak existence at Massachusetts’ Bridgewater State Hospital, a mental asylum for the criminally insane.
Every Wednesday night, Jam Ciné Club hosts free movie screenings with a monthly theme for film lovers to enjoy and discuss cult cinema masterpieces.
The movie starts at 8pm. Entrance is free.
