Banksy works coming to Bangkok

MOCA Bangkok will host an art exhibition next month featuring works made by popular street artist Banksy.

The Art of Banksy: Without Limits, will show more than 150 pieces by the enigmatic street artist from late October until the end of year at MOCA Bangkok.

The space will accommodate his original works ranging from prints, photographs, lithographs, sculpture, murals, and an exclusive multimedia piece that employs video mapping techniques.

Advance tickets are THB185 for students and THB260 for adults, until Oct. 12 via MOCA Bangkok and ZipEvent.

The Art of Banksy: Without Limits will be on display from Oct. 26 to Dec. 31.

Known for his mysterious persona, Banksy’s works have been praised as anti-authoritatian and satirical in nature.

Active since the ’90s, his name and identity remain anonymous. His art employs a distinct stencil technique and often appears on streets worldwide.

Banksy also directed the 2010 film Exit Through the Gift Shop, a documentary that profiled the lives and work of the world’s most talented graffiti artists.
