A charity comedy show to support relief efforts for a Ukrainian comedian’s community will go down Wednesday at Bangkok’s Live Lounge.

Ten Bangkok comedians including hosts Justin St-Denis and Chris Raufeisen will make cracks at world events, with donations going to his sister for distribution to direct-relief agencies. A charity box will be placed at the entrance, with T-shirts sold for THB1,000 each.

All donations and shirt sales will be donated.

“All the money collected at the event will be sent to region of Mykolaiv where lots of bombing happening now,” Igor Balanyuk said. “Money will be directly sent to volunteers of that city, and will be used to buy water, food, and supplies to people in need.”

The event starts at 8pm on May 11 at Live Lounge in Soi Sukhumvit 13.
