Bangkok to ‘Viva La Vida’ as Coldplay returns to the stage

Iconic British rock band Coldplay, known for captivating live performances, announced this morning it will return to play Bangkok early next year.

The band set a date of Feb. 3 for its Music of the Spheres Tour stop in Thailand with tickets going on sale in one week. 

While the band announced that tickets would go on sale at 10am on June 19, the ticket page says 9am

The band last played Bangkok in 2017 as part of its A Head Full of Dreams Tour, where a certain vegetable stole the spotlight.

Coldplay, consisting of lead vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion, has garnered a massive global following since their formation in 1996. 

The concert supports Coldplay’s 2021 release Music of the Spheres.

For maximum Coldplay, head down to Singapore where the band will play four shows at the National Stadium between Jan. 23 through Jan. 27. The band is also playing Manila on Jan. 19 at the Philippine Arena and Bangkok on Feb. 3 at the Rajamangala National Stadium. This comes after November dates were announced for Tokyo, Kaohsiung, Jakarta, Perth and Kuala Lumpur.
