The Bangkok trance music scene will see its first international gigs in two years with the arrival of six global artists bringing a feels-heavy musical journey in the coming days and weeks.
On Saturday, Trance Euphoria will take place at RCA’s V12 (Onyx) for one night featuring Bangkok-based, Newcastle-born producer Sam Laxton as well as the return of two Dutch DJs – Asteroid and Dubyard – following their 2020 stint at Phuket’s Unkonscious Festival.
Also on the roster are local acts Trance Lovers Thailand founder Jonnie B, King of Clubs/Unkonscious Festival founder Lonskii, Leen Van Willem, and Tom Perry.
The second event, also at Onyx, takes place July 1. Egyptian duo Aly & Fila, who are behind radio show and festival Future Sound of Egypt, will return after last playing Bangkok in 2020.
They will be joined by two other artists TBA. Advance tickets are on sale now for THB990 via Ticketmelon.
Both events are put on by a collaborative event by Trance Lovers Thailand and King of Clubs of Bangkok and Melbourne.
