Got a thing for music that marches or the percussive battles of a good drum line?
As if you needed another reason to get your ass to Buriram, 40 bands from around Southeast Asia will converge on the Thunder Castle in December.
The event started in 2010 as the “International Marching Band Competition” at Bangkok’s National Stadium, and when hardly anyone showed up it was rebranded the International Marching Band Competition in 2013.
For its fifth year, the competition returns with its awesomest name yet (World Music Championship) to the most wonderful province in the realm.
The three-day event starts Dec. 4 and the full schedule is online.
