DJ Steve Aoki has overseen acts such as Tiësto, Etienne De Crecy, Bloody Beetroots, Crookers and The Kills as a label boss at Dim Mak Records. As a producer he has worked with artists such as Bloc Party, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, The Kills, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Von Bondies, and The Gossip and has clearly had an influence on acts like Justice and Digitalism.
As a DJ he averages 250 shows a year and his skills on the decks have brought him a multitude of awards such as Best DJ of the Year by Paper Magazine 2007, Best Set of the Season – Ibiza Award 2007, Best Party Rocker DJ – BPM Magazine 2007 and Best Mix Album of the Year – Billboard 2008.
He will be playing his next RETOX session at LED on May 31st. Ask anyone who saw him at RETOX last year if his performance wowed. Bangkok has seen few better DJs in recent years and Aoki shows are notoriously wild. Don’t miss out!
