Noel Gallagher plays BITEC tomorrow night

British alternative legend Noel Gallagher is coming to Bangkok tomorrow September 20 with his new band High Flying Birds. The moody guitarist, along with his brother Liam on vocals, made his name with the band Oasis, along with some other people in the group who played instruments and stuff.

Oasis sold an estimated 70 million records worldwide but the love-hate relationship between the Gallagher brothers caused Noel to leave the group in 2009.

At the BITEC Bangna this Thursday expect Noel to play a few Oasis songs along with tracks from High Flying Birds.

After this tour, the ever modest Mr. Gallagher will take a break to get himself in the right mindset for his next album.

“I won’t be recording again for a while as I don’t want the follow-up to be compared to Oasis’s critically-panned third record Be Here Now. I’m taking a well earned break after this. Why mess with brilliance? Look what it did to the aftermath of Morning Glory,” he told the Daily Star.

Tickets are available from ThaiTicketMajor.
