Seems like Boy George “comes and goes” from Thailand quite often actually – last time he was here was in 2010, in fact.
And he’s back. In a big way.
The ’80s pop star who sold over 100 million singles and over 50 million albums as the lead singer of Culture Club has re-invented himself as a DJ and is getting behind the decks at Levels Club on Sukhumvit Soi 11 tomorrow night Oct. 6, organized by Retox Sessions.
Turns out he’s no spinning slouch either – DJ Mag ranked him #90 in its Top 100 2011 poll. Boy George spins acid house inspired by Chicago in the ’80s and electro and tech house from the ’90s and ’00s.
Also performing will be DJ Marc Vedo.
Pre-event tickets are THB1,000 and are available at by contacting info@retoxsessions.com with free delivery within the Bangkok area. Tickets are also available at the door on the day of the event and there is an open bar from 9.30-10.30pm. Entries after 10:30pm will receive a free drink.
Levels Club is situated on the 6th floor at the Aloft hotel – where we had our #cocoparty! – on Sukumvit Soi 11.
